ALAN ANTHONY REINKEMEYER

May 8, 1955 — April 1, 2010

Alan Anthony Reinkemeyer, 54, of Centertown, died Thursday, April 1, 2010, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born on May 8, 1955, in Amarillo, Texas, the son of Sylvester Anthony and Maxelinda Clara Talken Reinkemeyer. He was united in marriage on June 12, 1976, in Westphalia, Mo, to Patricia Pat Ann Holterman who survives at the home. Alan worked as a welder with ABB of Jefferson City. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and Boonslick Coonhunters Club. Alan was an avid hunter, NASCAR fan, and horseback rider. His greatest love was his family.
Other survivors include: three children, Cory Reinkemeyer (Tim Boles), Birmingham, Al.; Eric Reinkemeyer ( Fiance Kelsey Hudock), Overland Park, Ks.; Julie (Dustin) Wilson, Overland Park, Ks.; his mother and step-father, Maxelinda and Guy Cleveland, New Bloomfield; seven siblings, Glen (Julie) Reinkemeyer, Wardsville; Mark (Angie) Reinkemeyer, Taos; Dale (Jodi) Reinkemeyer, Taos; Ross (Robin) Reinkemeyer, Taos; Brenda (Robert) Tighe, New Bloomfield; Mary Beth Doerr, Holts Summit; Dana (Tom) Baker, Loose Creek; and five step-siblings, Ben (Caroline) Cleveland, St. Louis Park, Minn.; Kenton (Rhonda) Cleveland, Wichita, Ks.; Dan Cleveland, St. Paul, Minn.; Ann Cleveland, Coralville, Iowa; and Jean (Arlen) Graham, Sedgewickville, Mo. He was preceded in death by his father, Sylvester Anthony Reinkemeyer.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, April 5, 2010, at St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. Msgr. Donald W. Lammers officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Sunday at St. Peter Catholic Church with a prayer service at 3:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to St. Peter Catholic Church, 216 Broadway St., Jefferson City, Mo 65101; or to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
