AGNES MARIE FRANK

Agnes Marie Frank, 85, of Wardsville, died Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at St. Marys Health Center surrounded by her family. She was born on December 2, 1922, in Frankenstein, MO the daughter of Peter and Margaret Reinkemeyer Dudenhoeffer. She was united in marriage on August 2, 1949, in Freeburg to Norbert Henry Frank who preceded her in death on May 12, 1995. Agnes worked for St. Marys Health Center as a registered nurse for 21 years and as house supervisor for 18 of those years. She also worked for the Secretary of States office for 2 years. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Wardsville, Sodality of Our Lady, St. Marys Health Center Auxiliary, Over 50 Club at St. Stanislaus, and volunteered with St. Marys Health Center Busy Fingers quilters and St. Stanislaus Catholic Church quilters. Agnes enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, traveling, piano playing, and card playing. Survivors include: six daughters and their husbands, Margaret and Tom Gerling, House Springs, MO; Mary Jo and David Lanphear, Belair, MD; Patsy and Melvin Brandt, Frankenstein; Dorothy and Bob Oetting, Jacksonville, FL; Jeannie and Gary Greer, Loose Creek; Rita and Darrell Singer, Taos; two sons and their wives, Bob and Carol Frank, Wardsville; Kenny and Bev Frank, California, MO; thirty-one grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and four brothers and their wives, Ignatius Bud and Josephine Jo Dudenhoeffer, Jefferson City; Raymond and Viola Dudenhoeffer; Philip and Martha Dudenhoeffer; and Hubert and Mildred Dudenhoeffer, all of Freeburg. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Monday, May 19, 2008, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church with the Rev. Gregory C. Meystrik officiating. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Additional visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Monday at the church.
