Yvonne Germany Mack, 78, of Jefferson City, passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018, at River City Living Community.
She was born December 14, 1939, in Fannin, Mississippi, the daughter of Stennis and Velma Clemons.
Yvonne was a 1958 graduate of Lincoln High School, a 1964 graduate of Practical Nursing School in Jefferson City, and a 1973 graduate of Lincoln University.
Yvonne worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse, staff nurse, and charge nurse for St. Mary’s Health Center for 15 years, Still Hospital for 17 years, and Capital Health Care Nursing Home.
She was a member of Quinn Chapel A.M.E. Church in Jefferson City. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and cooking.
Survivors include two sons, Gerry Mack, Jefferson City; Clarence Mack, Jr., Jefferson City; and nine siblings, Joe Brown, Detroit, Michigan; John Clemons, Cape Girardeau, MO; Willie Ann (Arthur) Calvert, San Diego, CA; Paul Yizar, Jr., NY; Gaylord Yizar, FL; Keith Yizar, NY; Charmaine Thompson, NY; Daymon Yizar, NY; and Ira Jo Gordon, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Stennis and Velma Clemons; three sisters, Virginia Crider, Pauline Lewis, Eddie Ruth Clemons; and four brothers, Stennis Clemons, Jr., Phillip Clemons, Lee Clemons and James Clemons.
Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Friday, December 14, 2018, at Quinn Chapel A.M.E. Church.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Quinn Chapel A.M.E. Church with Rev. Cassandra Gould officiating.
Burial will be in Longview Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association.
