Hazel Odessa Borgmeyer, 94, of Jefferson City, died Thursday, February 23, 2006, at St. Marys Health Center.

She was born on Nov. 3, 1911, in Potts, MO, the daughter of John Edward and Rosetta Hicks Mason.

She was married in 1929 to Leo Harrison Goff who preceded her in death. She was married on Sept. 23, 1978 in Jefferson City to Roman Anthony Borgmeyer who survives at the home.

Mrs. Borgmeyer was employed with Millsap’s Department Store and later with Schnider Men’s Wear in Jefferson City where she served for over twenty years.

She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1003 Auxiliary.

Other survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, James W. and Carolyn Goff, Jefferson City; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Edward Lee Goff; three sisters, Bernice Chester; Mildred West; and Beulah Martin; and one brother, Floyd Mason.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 27, 2006, at St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. James M. Smith officiating.

Entombment will be in Resurrection Chapel Mausoleum.

Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 26th, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 6 p.m.
